✅ After Ashfall

  • Wait for official clearance before going outside
  • Wear protective clothing when cleaning up ash
  • Dampen ash before sweeping to avoid inhalation
  • Check your roof for excessive ash weight - remove carefully
  • Do not use water to wash ash down drains
  • Seek medical attention if you have breathing difficulties
  • Check on vulnerable neighbors and relatives
